Details: Highly recommend after knee replacement surgery! Eases pain and swelling no need to constantly change out ice packs. I thought this was essential for pain management and comfort! Purchased with FSA account thru work. Do it!

Details: the three of us, my husband, my father, and I have had one shoulder replacement and three total hip replacements. We got an earlier version of this for the first joint replacement, and it helped SO much with pain control and speeded up the recovery process. We've been recommending this product/earlier version to everyone we run across who is considering surgery.

Details: I had a 4 hour ride home after my knee replacement and was in a level 8 pain no matter what I took for how I sat. When I got home and elevated my leg and hooked up the ice machine. Instant relief. I highly recommend this machine.

Details: I have been using the Active Ice unit non-stop since returning from the hospital 9 days ago. Working great so far to help control swelling after my total knee replacement. I ordered the larger size cuff with it and am able to completely encircle my knee which is very nice. The only suggestions for improvement of the product I can think of would be to offer shorter or different sized cuff elastic and velcro bands (shorter would be nice in my case), and add a gasket of some sort to the cooler lid to prevent splashing out water when the unit is moved from one location to another (bedroom at night to living room during the day). Otherwise I highly recommend this product! Thank you!

Details: I bought this Polar ice machine with the XL pad as I had surgery that left a 10-12 incision down the front of my leg. The fact that you could time it and turn it down if it got too cold. WOW!!

Details: Multiple arthritic joints. Ice pack gels were getting too inefficient to use. Was referred to Polar from a friend who has shoulder surgery. His physician sent this system home with him as post surgery pain management. All I can say is, if you’re at all interested in this icing system, don’t hesitate. It’s very effective. Works exactly as promised.

Details: Thanks so much for help and great customer service! I tell everyone I know to try your product. I've had various cooling machines over the years for my migraines and not a one has ever gotten this cold. It's just fantastic! The timer option is wonderful, too. I just love it. It saves me from having to get up every hour to get a fresh ice pack and allows my medicine to work while I rest. I've also recently been diagnosed with a form of lupus, which causes intense over-heating. My machine is just a godsend.
