Details: The extremity cooling system is working well. Since I had gone through 2 rounds of chemo before I bought the system, I have some neuropathy in my hands and feet. I have used it for rounds 3-5 and will use it for my final round on Monday. I may have less neuropathy because I used the system for the majority of my treatments.

My wife not only had no peripheral neuropathy, but had absolutely no changes to her nail beds( the oncologist was shocked)[CF-ES] .We found the straps to be very important for the feet. Thanks again

Hands are no problem. We usually start at 4 then turn down to 3 as it gets too cold for her. We start 15 minutes before the Taxol, a one hour infusion and then 15 minutes after. Total time, 1 1/2 hours. We plan to donate the unit [CF-ES] to our infusion center. Not sure if you have reps but I would recommend calling ... More details
