"Chemo Cooling"
A. C. on 8/25/2021 1:24:50 PM
Details: We purchased this product to cool and reduce neuropathy in Hands and Feet during 3 hour Chemotherapy Infusions. Because of Covid restrictions, we needed a solution which could be managed by the patient alone. The unit was easily managed by the patient, as the cooler held enough ice for an 1 hour, requiring only 2 ice fills. And it worked!! Patient advice: practice several times before the day of infusion. You will need a 2nd cooler for replacement ice. Polar Products Advice: Improved instructions for chemo end-use.

"Good"

Details: The extremity cooling system is working well. Since I had gone through 2 rounds of chemo before I bought the system, I have some neuropathy in my hands and feet. I have used it for rounds 3-5 and will use it for my final round on Monday. I may have less neuropathy because I used the system for the majority of my treatments.

Details: A friend of our daughter(31) just got diagnosed with triple neg breast cancer and will have to go through the same regiment as my wife did. "All Infusion Centers Should Have This"
Dr.Ken on 7/10/2019 12:26:23 PM
Details: We have 3 sessions left(at Chemo today) out of 12. No signs of any peripheral neuropathy at all so very successful. Having the 3 straps is essential to get it tight around her feet. Hands are no problem. We usually start at 4 then turn down to 3 as it gets too cold for her. We start 15 minutes before the Taxol, a one hour infusion and then 15 minutes after. Total time, 1 1/2 hours. We plan to donate the unit [CF-ES] to our infusion center. Not sure if you have reps but I would recommend calling on the infusion centers as this probably could be covered by insurance and every woman getting Taxol could use this.
