Details: I bought the active ice machine with timer after knee replacement. I use it while resting during the day and even while I sleep. This has helped tremendously by not having to get up every few minutes to change out an ice pack. I am weeks ahead on my PT and I believe this has helped me achieve that goal.

Details: Just had knee replacement surgery and was instructed to do this type of cold therapy. The Polar Active Ice machine with the knee pad has worked very, very well for me. It certainly brings on the cold, and stays cold for a long time, so no need to continuously change out the ice. It's very easy to use and keep clean. The tube that connects the pad to the machine can also get very cold, which drapes across my body -I wrapped a towel around it to make it more comfortable.

Details: I wish I had known about this polar ice machine when I had my total shoulder replacement and my hip replacement. I’m so happy it was recommended to me by my physical therapist during my preop visit. Details: I had knee replacement and had a different ice machine it broke down. So, I order the Polar Active Ice and couldn't be happier. One of the best things was the tip to use frozen bottles of water instead of ice. Total game changer when you can't drive yourself places and constantly need to buy bags of ice. I also liked the size of the wrap and actually ordered a full sized wrap just in case. My niece was visiting and twisted her ankle. She used the ice machine and it worked great for her. This is a solid product.
