Details: We purchased this product because my husband was having a knee replacement. It has been a godsend, so easy to use and the wrap stays cold for a long time. The timer makes it very simple as it goes on and off at a specific time. This eliminates switching out ice wraps every hour or so. Just fill with frozen water bottles and it lasts 12 hours or so. It has made all the difference in his recovery being able to ice so easily.

Details: I was given a smaller ice therapy machine. My hubby moves the polar ice machine back and forth the bedroom and living room. He says use the best. The longer cold time, larger pad, plus the programmable timer makes this one the best!

Details: I purchased this system for use following my second knee replacement surgery. Compared to the ice packs I used following my first surgery, this system was much more effective, longer-lasting, and efficient. Prior to my purchase I questioned the cost, but it has proven to be worth every penny!

Details: We bought this unit before my recent knee replacement surgery and it's been a key tool in managing post-op challenges including pain. It's easy to use and reliable of course it helps relieve the swelling, but also helps manage the pain from PT required walking. I'll never go through another joint operation without having one of these with me post-op.

Details: I've been using this for 5 days now after knee surgery. I like it so much more than ice. Much more convenient! I found that placing frozen water bottles inside just doesn't chill the water as much as dumping good-old ice in there. I did then top it off with a few bottles of frozen water to help keep it colder, longer, and it seems to helps. I really like the auto-on & off function. I actually look forward to using it!

Details: Buy direct from US company. They answer the phone, they ship the next day. You can get exactly what you need. Ability to swap out 6 sealed frozen water bottles is incredibly fast, clean and convenient. Timer gives you adjustable periods of cooling and rest, even if you fall asleep. I chose to add extension tubing and power cord - tank is out of the way, tubing routed so it is not a trip hazard, and control is right at my bedside. Large knee pad is perfect for TKR. Temperature is uniform and constant. I wish I had this for my first TKR. Inexpensive, but SO beneficial!
