Details: I bought the 9 qt. 3 months ago because my wife is having extended knee problems. She had a knee replacement get infected, removed 3 months ago and getting a new knee in a month. I use frozen water bottles. The 9 qt. needed changed at least 3 times a day. I decided to move the 9 qt. to my recliner for my back. Purchasing the 16 qt. is worth the little extra money. I only need to change the ice bottles twice a day. It's a much better way to go. The large pad works great and covers my whole back easily. I cannot say enough about just how good this product is and all their products are good. This is a great company. Their delivery is very quick.
