Details: This is one of several system components I bought from Polar that have given me life-changing relief. The Active Ice 3.0 system is a lifesaver! I have debilitating headaches and extreme flushing episodes following a recent brain surgery, and this is the only thing that has given me any relief or comfort. This stays ICE cold for well over 12 hours before having to change water bottles. No more waking up in the middle of the night with my head throbbing, no more fumbling around with ice packs that never stay where you need them to be, plus no more bugging my husband for fresh ice packs every hour. Programmable timer and flow control are awesome bonus features that give added flexibility based on how you're feeling and what kind of relief you need. I also bought several other components for this machine to use multiple therapy pads, splitter hose, and hose extensions which allow me to keep my entire head cool in various positions so that I can always be comfortable. I needed a little help figuring out the best way to set everything up and reached out to Polar directly. They responded immediately (on a weekend no less!) and bent over backwards to make sure I had everything I needed to optimize performance of my system. I'm sorry if this review is a little long, but I just can't emphasize enough the impact this system has had 9n my quality of life. This is a 5-star product from a 5-star company! Highly recommend!

Details: My severe swelling was finally controlled with daily use. I love it and let it run for 120 minutes. I froze 6 16 ounce water bottles instead of using ice.
