Details: My almost 13-year-old dog, Percy, worked as my Seizure Alert Dog until he was 12 years old. He has been a tremendous blessing in my life, so watching as Degenerative Myelopathy and arthritis cripple him has been incredibly difficult. My goal is to make whatever time he has left as good as possible. He has always run hot, so keeping him cool has always been a challenge. Now that he is mostly paralyzed in his back end, he can't get up to move when he is too warm. None of the little cooling pads or beds I bought from various pet stores did any good. I contacted Polar Products and their customer support was extremely helpful. I ordered the PolarPup and it arrived SUPER fast. Percy LOVES his PolarPup. He is on it almost all the time. I have 4 sets of water bottles and switch them out every few hours. Not only is he now comfortable as far as temperature, but the cold has also really helped his arthritis. He is more mobile now than he has been in several months. I was afraid that I was going to have to let Percy go because I was struggling to keep him comfortable. The Polar Pup has given me the most precious gift I could ask for: more time with Percy. Thank you so much for helping keep my best guy with me for a little while longer. I cherish every moment.
