Polar Products works
closely with the many chapters of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Some chapters offer programs to help with your body cooling needs (Request information from your local chapter.)
Find your local NMSS chapter!
If
your local chapter does not have a cooling program, or does not
currently offer our body cooling systems, please refer them to us.
We can provide information on our cost-effective programs for NMSS and provide references from the many
chapters we work with. We have over 25 years of experience cooling people with MS.
The Buckeye Chapter
is our local chapter, and we're proud to work with them on their
cooling program. If you live in between Independence and Columbus, OH,

In
2010, Jil and Bill visited our friends at the NMSS headquarters in
Denver to give an educational in-service on the different types of
cooling products available for people with MS. Here's what some of their
staff had to say:
"I
am glad to say I found the presentation educational and enlightening...
We learned a great deal and have a much fuller understanding of cooling
devices and how they work for people with MS." - Nancy Law, VP of Programs, NMSS in Denver, CO
[Note: While they were in town, they gave a similar presentation to the Rocky Mountain MS Center... "I
found the cooling education session very informative and I learned about new
products available from Polar that I didn’t know existed before. I am
sure our clients’ lives will be enriched with the use of the cooling
products.” - Michelle King, MS CTRS, Special Projects Research Coordinator for the Rocky Mountain MS Center in Denver, CO]
More from NMSS headquarters:
"The presentation was very helpful – I didn’t realize how climate could affect the products."
"I
really appreciated the presentation that Jil & Bill provided. I
had no idea the differences in the products (i.e. high humidity vs. low
humidity products.) I think this was essential information that our
clients need to know."
"I
thought the presentation was great! Very balanced and now I really do
understand the different cooling products and uses for each one."
"I
really appreciated Bill and Jil’s presentation. I now feel much more
prepared to answer calls regarding cooling products. In fact, I
received a call immediately after the presentation from a man asking
about evaporative vs. water-based cooling and because of what I learned
from them, I was able to answer his questions and make suggestions
based on his needs and environment."
"It was very educational! Having the products there to show us was great."
"Thank you again for coming out. You all were a wealth of information!"
