Product Specifications

Knee and Joint Compression Wrap (#KAW):

The Universal U-Shaped Bladder is attached to the inside of the compression wrap.
Holds the bladder comfortably in place on the joints using three (3) attached elastic straps with hook and loop tabs closures
The soft cotton backing absorbs moisture and helps protect the skin while the insulated outer fabric directs maximum cold therapy to the shoulder.

Warning

The Active Ice® 3.0 System can be cold enough to seriously injure the skin.
Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use. Provide a complete medical history, specifically any reactions to the cold.
Certain medical conditions may be more susceptible to cold-related injuries. Ask your practitioner about any potential adverse reactions. Caution: use of cold therapy by children, diabetics, incapacitated patients, and those with poor circulation or special skin conditions should be carefully supervised by a medical professional.
Use only as prescribed by a licensed healthcare practitioner and follow all of his or her instructions regarding the frequency and duration of cold therapy, proper temperature, how and when to check the skin, and length of treatment.

Details: Polar Products are great for the healing process after knee surgery. They help control the swelling after the surgery and during therapy. I highly recommend the products. I have used it myself and have let two friends borrow my unit who also rave about how it helped them.

Details: Polar products have my best recommendations. I purchased a polor ice therapy unit . Some went wrong with it . I called customer service told them of the problem, without any hassle they shipped me a a new unit overnight I was really grateful as I had just had knee replacement surgery 2days prior. Details: Product works great! Only complaint is that it doesn’t fully wrap around the entire knee so I have to use a separate ice pack for behind the knee while I use the wrap for the top. You could take turns with wrapping on top of knee and then on back of knee, but that was too much work for me as I am recovering m knee surgery. This was only a minor inconvenience. Otherwise, love the product!

Details: Just had a knee replacement surgery. Purchased a case of bottled water and froze 8 bottles. Placed 4 of the bottles in the water cooler and filled with water to the marked line. Working like a champ. Just swap out the bottles with frozen when needed. It sure beats messing with bags of ice. It really gets super cold.

Details: This replaced the knee wrap I had used for my surgery, so my mother-in-law would have a fresh one for her knee revision. The Polar Ice Machine is the best invention for any surgery that requires post op icing

Details: I have been using this machine since I came home from having a total knee replacement two weeks ago. I have the knee sleeve attachment. It works great and is very easy to use. My only complaint is that it's noisy when placed on a bare floor. It's best used on a carpet and with a pillow on top to muffle the noise. It uses the whole contents of our ice maker in one load, so we've been supplementing with grocery store ice.

Polar Products Inc. warrants that this product is free from defects in workmanship, materials and fitness for use, for six-months from initial purchase under normal use for which it was intended. Polar's obligation under this warranty is limited to the replacement or repair of any defective part(s) of this product. If you have a problem with your Active Ice® 3.0 System, please call Polar's customer service at 1.800.763.8423 to obtain a Returned Goods Authorization number (RGA#).

Please note: health regulations prohibit us from accepting returns on used cold therapy systems. If there is a problem with its operation (as covered by the warranty), and the system is within its 180-day warranty period, it will be repaired at no charge. Unused systems may be returned with a 15% disassembly, inspection and restocking fee, within 30 days of the initial purchase. Call Polar to arrange.
