Details: I finally gave in this year and bought a cooling vest. I have MS, yet I procrastinated for years because I didn't want to look weird, but it really looks nice, like part of my outfit. (I got it in black so it would go with many of my clothes.) In terms of function, it does a GREAT job. It doesn't make me cold, it just allows me to be comfortably cool. My only concern was its weight. The jacket is lightweight; however, with five ice packs, it becomes heavier. I have chronic neck pain, and the weight of the loaded jacket pulls my shoulders down, putting weight on my neck. Lately, I have been using just three packs down my back, and not filling the front side pockets, and that helps. I don't really notice any change in the cooling effect from this change, a good thing. Now I'm more included, and I recently went to the beach with my family for the first time in years. Many beaches loan beach wheelchairs for free, and the lifeguards pushed it! Most importantly, I was COOL! I loved helping my granddaughters as they built sandcastles. I'm so glad I bought this cooling vest!

Details: I'm a food server in a beautiful restaurant. I take tamoxifen for breast cancer. I wear the black vest to work instead of my uniform vest and its amazing. I feel refreshed and ready to go all day and night. I wish more people knew this product was available. I tell everybody and highly recommend it.

Details: I have 2 other vests. One you soak (Arctic Heat) and the other holds ice packs (StaCool). This one is the most versatile. It's lightweight. If you have spasm, in some parts of your back but not others, you can locate your ice packs accordingly. There are 3 packs for the back, lower, mid and upper unlike other vests where the ice covers all areas of the back. The packs freeze fast and last a few hours. Lay them flat in the freezer. Wear gel deodorant, the material under the arms turns white from deodorant. I wear a small and I am 5'8" - 36B - 135 lb. athletic build. If you are my size with petite shoulders you can probably wear an extra small as mine is a little looser in the torso than you would normally want with an ice vest. I am in a really humid location and I haven't had a problem with the packs sweating through the material.

Details: I live in the Hot! high desert of CA, for at least 3 years I put off getting a cooling vest because I didn't want to look like a freeway worker. Anyone with MS can relate that each summer month gets more diff to manage. (unless you stay in doors 24/7). So I finally broke down and decided to get it, boy am I glad! I was pleasantly surprised how discreet the cooling inserts were and how much better I felt afterward. Only one thing.. I recommend you put the cooling packs in baggies so that the precipitation doesn't soak though, for me it only happen in the back. I got the khaki color it matched with quite a few things in my closet. Trust me it won't cramp your style ladies, I plan to get the black. Anyone looking at this one, I say... Get It!!! Don't put it off. You'll love it.

Details: I have a major problem with heat tolerance due to some health issues. I have issues with doing things like grocery shopping, and was looking for something that I could wear in stores or while running errands without it looking too much like a cooling vest. Looking at the pictures of this vest, it seemed to be exactly what I was looking for. The vest looks more tailored on the women in the pictures. The vest itself looks like a heavy weight men's vest. While a bit more like normal clothing than most cooling vests, it still looks kind of odd for me to wear while shopping. Another big problem is the fact that this vest has only five ice packs. It does not do a good job of cooling you. If I could go back in time, I would buy the vest with more ice packs since it would be cooler.

Details: All I did was not use the top center back ice pack slot because the wgt. there sort of pulled me off balance a little, But used ice packs in all other slots, people said it looked good and it felt great. Love the pockets too!

Details: I like the look of this vest. I love the big pockets. The placement of the ice packs is a little off, but that coud just be me.
