Details: Purchased the 3.0 Cold Therapy system and then the full knee wrap from recently having a total knee replacement surgery, and this therapy system was truly a game-changer during my recovery. It kept the swelling and pain under control far better than ice packs ever could. The continuous cold flow felt soothing and consistent, and it made a huge difference in how quickly I could get back on my feet. Highly recommend using the frozen water bottles inside the cooler

Details: As much good as the original 'knee pad' did (the one that came with my machine) I ended up ordering this one because my wife had an argument with the table saw (and she lost but, thankfully, didn't lose any fingers) and had emergency hand surgery. So I set that pad up for her to slide her mangled hand in/out of to more effectively ice it after the surgery and during recovery and, eventually, hand therapy. The thing is this: this pad covers more area around my knee than the original pad and I wish I'd gotten it earlier. There two things that knocked off the final star: 1) I wish the pad was just a bit bigger. Not much, just a bit (it still does the knee icing very well). 2) I wish it came standard with 3 straps (I bought an extra) and that those straps were also a couple inches longer that would make it easier to get the correct tightness to maximize the cold by keeping more of the pad in contact with my leg.
