Details: My son says this is so much easier to apply himself vs. the big square one. He's had 2 meniscus repairs in just under 12 months. The Polar machine has been an integral part of his recovery both times.

Details: We purchased this pad to determine if it worked better than the full wrap around knee pad, It does all right for the front of the leg but not so much for the back. However, it is much easier to attach to the knee.

Details: I am thoroughly impressed by this product. I bought for a knee replacement and it was very beneficial to the swelling and pain. My physical therapist couldn’t believe how quick I made my levels of movement. I was also impressed with how this is a Family Owned and Made in the USA.

Details: I purchased this for my knee replacement. When the pump was working it supplied perfect cold water through the sleeve. I ordered the knee pad separately, which is what you need for a knee replacement and accurate application of cold therapy. Unfortunately, the pump stopped working but Amazon sent a replacement in 2days. I’m now almost 4 weeks post surgery and it’s working well. I hope the pump doesn’t crap out again 🙏

Details: I had knee surgery in June 20 of this year and I have been using my cold therapy pad for my knee with my cold therapy cooler that I absolutely recommend for anybody who has surgery on their knees. This product is awesome.

Details: I purchased the Polar Active Ice Machine and the pad specific to the knee. I’ve used this machine many times daily since my total knee replacement in September. Easy to set up and use day and night. The timer and programmable control are great to help manage daily use.

Details: Purchased this in October due to recommendations from a relative who had already undergone knee replacement surgery. I had my partial knee replacement surgery on November 6, 2023. The Active ice machine was an excellent purchase. It works flawlessly. It allowed me to use fewer pain meds. The timer control is an excellent mechanism to keep the cool flowing. Polar Products seems to be the only company that encourages customers to use frozen water bottles which is a huge convenience. Just an excellent product and company.

Details: We bought this after our young son had unexpected knee surgery. It took us a little time to figure out his cold tolerance and water level, but once we did, it worked great! He began with cycle on 10, off 10, then moved up to on 20, off 10 (kept it on all day) and his knee visibly reduced in size. He is back in school with a wheelchair, so he uses this system anytime he is home to help keep the swelling down. My son can reach the couplings well enough to detach himself and get up to go to the restroom. He is self sufficient with this unit. We also bought the broad shoulder attachment which will get used in the future. I expect we'll be very happy with it as well. Expedited shipping was well worth it. Next time, I'm glad to have this at the ready. We didn't buy extra cord, though I can see where it would be useful for the setting controller. We push the cooler pump farther away from our son so the tubes don't kink, but then it's a challenge to reach the hand controller. Just something to consider if you don't have an assistant.
