"I've got MS and used to be confined to the indoors during most of June - Oct. For two years now, this Kool Max® Poncho Vest has allowed me to help coach my son's youth football team in Texas - starting in Aug., when the temps are consistently over 100 degrees! I just wear a hat and put the vest on under a golf shirt (with a t-shirt on between the vest and my skin) and nobody can even tell I've got in on. The only time they know is if they pat me on the back to congratulate a good play in the game. It allows me to be out in the heat for 2 - 3 hour practices and games 4 days / week. I got the extra set of packs and use them if I'm out more than 3 hours, but a single set easily keeps my core cool for 3 hours, and that's long enough for most times. If you take the extra set of packs, just pack them in an ice chest with some blue ice around them and they stay solid all day. EXCELLENT product and highly recommend it for anyone with heat sensitivity issues who want to get their life back!"

"For years I'd been sensitive to heat. If the temp outside got above 80F, I would have to sit quietly in the shade with quarts of icy drinks, and only for an hour tops, instead of hiking, canoeing, kayaking, BBQing or even just gardening/puttering in the yard. I was recently diagnosed with Relapsing-Remitting Multiple Sclerosis so my heat issues now make sense. Someone mentioned that there are manufacturers of special "stay cool" items... I was intrigued. This [Kool Max® Zipper Front] vest has really opened opportunities for me to be active and have fun in the summertime. This summer has been extremely hot (many 90F+ days) but I've gone canoeing, kayaking, gardened ,archery/range, BBQs etc. with NO heat fatigue yay! "I got the Cool58® Secrets Vest because most of the other cooling vests were more like traditional vests - they went over your shoulders and chest. Personally, I am a large-chested lady, so finding a vest that would have a snug fit was challenging. The Cool58 Secrets Vest is great in that regard. It fits comfortably on my abdomen, above my belly button and below my bra. It's easy to sit while wearing it, which makes it ideal for bike riding and use at the gym. Since I've ended up using the freezer anyway, I kinda wish I'd gone with the Kool Max® Secrets Vest. "I have the CoolFit® Kit and absolutely love it! As a person with MS who is very heat sensitive it's a workout essential. I use it year round, 2-3 times a week. The Kool Max® Deluxe Cooling Neck Tie and Kool Max® Secrets vest are my favorite, though I wear the vest outside my clothes as it's really cold when I first put it on. The wrist and ankle wraps are good on particularly hot days, so I tend to use them more in the summer for that extra cooling power. They are also pretty subtle at the gym, every now and then someone asks me why I'm wearing a back brace and I explain it's ice and talk a little bit about MS and heat. No one asks about the neck wrap, and people assume the wrist and ankle ones are weights. Overall a fantastic product that helps me stay as active as I can be!"

"I finally gave in this year and bought a cooling vest. I have MS, yet I procrastinated for years because I didn't want to look weird, but it really looks nice, like part of my outfit. (I got the Kool Max® Fashion Vest in black so it would go with many of my clothes.) In terms of function, it does a GREAT job. It doesn't make me cold, it just allows me to be comfortably cool. My only concern was its weight. The jacket is lightweight; however, with five ice packs, it becomes heavier. I have chronic neck pain, and the weight of the loaded jacket pulls my shoulders down, putting weight on my neck. Lately, I have been using just three packs down my back, and not filling the front side pockets, and that helps. I don't really notice any change in the cooling effect from this change, a good thing. Now I'm more included and I recently went to the beach with my family for the first time in years. Many beaches loan beach wheelchairs for free, and the lifeguards pushed it! Most importantly, I was COOL! I loved helping my granddaughters as they built sandcastles. I'm so glad I bought this cooling vest!"

"I am a businessman with both MS and intolerance to heat situations. My occupation often presents me the opportunity to play a round of golf with clients, which I love except for the fact that the heat considerably worsens my symptoms.
