Unlike large, cumbersome tubs, the Polar Life Pod® is easy to keep on the sidelines and transport to the individual, instead of picking up them up and transporting them to a stationary TUB.

Rapid Set-up and Immersion of Individual Being Submersed

Requires just 40-60 gallons of on-site ice water depending on the size of the individual.

Effective Immersion of the Body, Neck and Back of the Head

Fits individuals up to seven feet tall and 400 pounds. Fold the foot of the Polar Life Pod® under to adjust to the height of smaller individuals.
The floating head support pillow hyperextends the neck and helps keep the individuals' airways safely elevated and out of the water, while cooling the neck and the back of the head. Note: the individual airways must still be monitored for safety.

On-Demand, Reusable Cold Water Immersion Device

The PLP is an on-demand water immersion device that can quickly be set up to use whenever and wherever needed. It is made out of a heavy-duty PVC and is capable of fitting individuals up to 7 feet tall and weighing up to 400 lbs.

Requires Just 40 to 60 Gallons of Water

The PLP requires four (4) to six (6) 10-gallon Gatorade type containers of on-site ice water, depending on the size of the individual.

Integrated Dual Drawstring Hood

Allows for full body, neck and partial head coverage of the individual being submersed while minimizing water leakage.

Arm Ports with Sleeves

Allows the individual being submersed to extend arms outside of the PLP.

Adjustable Straps

Minimize water usage by forming the PLP to the individual's body shape while allowing for even and effective water distribution.

Access Port and Attached Thermometer Bag

Access port located midway down the PLP.

Full Length Anterior Two-Way Zipper

Facilitates ground level access for individual into and out of the PLP. Also allows the PLP to be rapidly filled with water from on-site containers. The water can then be evacuated quickly at the foot of the PLP at a safe distance from the individual's head.

Floating Head Support

Fits snugly inside the hood and allows the individual to keep their head above water. This hyperextends the neck, keeping their airways clear and above water as well, while the neck and back of the head are covered in the cold water.

Waterproof Digital Thermometer

For monitoring the water temperature inside the PLP.
