The Active Ice® Cooling Extended Head Cap provides effective cold therapy to the head by continuously circulating cool water throughout the cap. This lightweight cap is constructed of a soft 97% cotton and 3% Spandex fabric for a comfortable, snug fit with extended cooling coverage over the forehead and eyes.

Polar recommends this therapy pad is used with the Programmable Timer and Temperature Flow Control (#DFT) that now comes standard with all Active Ice® systems. If you previously purchased the system and don't have the #DFT it can be purchased here.

Benefits and Features of the Extended Head Therapy Cap

The therapy cap can provide cold therapy to the head, face and scalp by continuously circulating cool water throughout the cap.
The head cap can be comfortably secured to the scalp and upper face.
High flow cooling water lines are located inside the cap for maximum effectiveness.
Great for post-surgery when serious pain relief is required.

The Active Ice® 3.0 System can be cold enough, under certain conditions, to injure the skin.
Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use. Provide a complete medical history, specifically any reactions to the cold.
Certain medical conditions may be more susceptible to cold-related injuries. Ask your practitioner about any potential adverse reactions.
Caution: use of cold therapy by children, diabetics, incapacitated patients, and those with poor circulation or special skin conditions should be carefully supervised by a medical professional.
Use only as prescribed by a licensed healthcare practitioner and follow all of his or her instructions regarding the frequency and duration of cold therapy, proper temperature, how and when to check the skin, and length of treatment.

Polar Products Inc. warrants that this product is free from defects in workmanship, materials and fitness for use, for six-months from initial purchase under normal use for which it was intended. Polar's obligation under this warranty is limited to the replacement or repair of any defective part(s) of this product. If you have a problem with your Active Ice® 3.0 System, please call Polar's customer service at 1.800.763.8423 to obtain a Returned Goods Authorization number (RGA#).

Please note: Due to health and hygiene regulations, all Active Ice® 3.0 Cold Therapy pads and accessories that are used and/or have had water circulated through them are non-returnable. Brand new/unused therapy pads and accessories may be returned with a 15% restocking fee, within 30 days of the initial purchase. Call Polar to arrange.
