The Active Ice® Double Universal Therapy System is great for post-surgery, when serious pain relief is required. The system uses a motorized pump to circulate cold water from a cooler to TWO desired body areas, delivering localized cold therapy to the patient either at home or during his or her hospital stay.

Reusable, universal therapy bladders:

Universal U-Shaped Bladder (UB) is ideal for knees, shoulder, back, ankles, elbows, calves and limbs.
Universal Rectangular Bladder (RB) is ideal for full coverage of the back
Foot-Shaped Bladder (FB) - ideal for foot surgery! It fits like a sock with full circulating water coverage of the foot. (This bladder choice is an additional $20)
You may also choose to order more than one! Two universal bladders with a Y-shaped hose connector is ideal for double knee replacement.

Optional compression wraps:

Help insulate the target area and control condensation.
Provide a gentle, adjustable compression.
Hold the bladder comfortably in place on the targeted body part.
Conveniently attach to the Universal U-shaped Bladder (UB) with hook and loop tabs.
Available for the Knee (KAW), Lumbar (LAW), and Shoulder (SAW)

Please note: The compression wraps are an additional purchase and are not included with the system. The Rectangular Bladder cannot be used with these compression wraps.

Drain Accessory allows most of the water to be pumped from the cooler to a drain without lifting the cooler. Clips to the lid when not in use. (Included with 15-quart cooler.)

Warning

The Active Ice® System can be cold enough to seriously injure the skin.
Consult your health care practitioner prior to use. Provide a complete medical history, specifically any reactions to cold.
Certain medical conditions may be more susceptible to cold-related injuries. Ask your practitioner about any potential adverse reactions. Caution: Use of cold therapy by children, diabetics, incapacitated patients, and those with poor circulation or special skin conditions should be carefully supervised by a medical professional.
Use only as prescribed by your licensed health care practitioner and follow all of his or her instructions regarding the frequency and duration of cold therapy, proper temperature, how and when to check the skin, and total length of treatment.

Active Ice ® System Warranty

Polar Products Inc. warrants that this product is free from defects in workmanship, materials and fitness for use for 6 months from initial purchase under normal use for which it was intended. Polar's obligation under this warranty is limited to the replacement or repair of any defective part(s) of this product. If you have a problem with your Active Ice System, please call our Customer Service at 1-800-763-8423 to obtain a Returned Goods Authorization number (RGA.)

Please note: health regulations prohibit us from accepting returns on cold therapy systems unless there is a problem with its operation (as covered by the warranty.) If the unit is within its 180 day warranty period, it will be repaired or replaced with a new unit.
