How does it work?
- Frozen water-based cooling packs fit into insulated pockets in vests and accessories.
- Non-toxic and chemical-free Kool Max® cooling packs are made of biodegradable materials.
- Packs are reusable and should last for years with proper care and storage.
- To use, place the packs in the freezer until they are frozen solid.
- The extra set of Kool Max® Cooling Packs are offered at a special discount when purchased with the wrap! Keep the extra set in the freezer or a cooler, ready to use.
Commonly used for: - Cooling the major arteries around the neck
- Lightweight cooling during outdoor activity or work in hot conditions
- Multiple Sclerosis heat sensitivity
- Intolerance to heat (neurological or physical)
Kool Max® "MS Awareness" Scarf (#SCARF-KM) features:
- Two (2) segmented 3" x 9" Kool Max® Packs
- Provides cooling relief for up to 2-3 hours. (Please note: cooling times are estimates and will vary depending on climate, body metabolism and activity.)
- Lightweight wrap weighs less than 1 lb.
- One (1) 100% cotton cooling scarf
- Fashionable and discreet design- no one will know there are cooling packs inside the scarf!
- Packs fit into two pockets sewn inside the scarf
- Scarf ties for a comfortable fit
